The National Trust have a policy of providing gluten free options in their tearooms and restaurants - if you find nothing on the service please ask the manager who often keeps recipes prepared to avoid wastage, especially on cakes. Visit their website for details of all their properties. In practice some properties are more gluten free friendly than others.
